Dr. Alanna Barron received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University Medical Center in San Diego and joined the practice in 2000.

 

Born in San Francisco and raised in Birmingham, Michigan, Dr. Barron and her family live in Grand Haven, Michigan. Prior to joining the Cascade Pediatric team, Dr. Barron practiced pediatrics in San Diego and then spent two years in Okinawa, Japan as a civilian pediatrician while her husband was a naval physician.

 

Dr. Barron loves spending time with her husband of 25 years, who is an ophthalmologist, and their two daughters. She enjoys traveling, playing piano, book club, live music and jogging with her dog Leo on the beach.
